Children's Activities at the Home Show
This is a family-friendly event, so please bring the kids. Here are some of the free activities:
HOME DEPOT children's building project on Saturday only, 11 am to 3 pm.
Children's Self-Paced Scavenger Hunt - children can pick up a scavenger hunt form at the registration area. Items will be distributed at the show at various booths. Once all items are located, the sheet can be returned for a prize.
Local Author Suzanne Malpass -- Suzanne Malpass will be reading from several of her children's books which will also be for sale. Stop by her booth. She has written A Lab's Tale, Up North Bears, A Baby Duck Summer, and many other children's stories, all beautifully illustrated.
MISS DIG 811 -- Michigan MISS DIG will be on hand with information on the flags that are put out when anyone digs in the ground. The flags mark water and sewer lines, telecommunication lines, gas lines and any other buried lines. There will be handouts and goodies for kids.
