The 2022 Northern Michigan Regional Home and Outdoor Living Show on April 8 and 9 in Petoskey was a huge success with about 900 attendees. Look for our show in 2023.
What to Expect at the 2022 Home Show

65+ Booths -- Visit with exhibitors specializing in construction, home improvement materials, kitchen and bath design and materials, landscaping and excavating, home systems, finance, real estate, patio and decks, and more!

Family-friendly event with children's activities - scavenger hunt, children's book author and Home Depot children's building project on Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm.

Demonstrations by vendors

BUILDERS ROW -- visit with licensed contractors on Builders Row. Our local builders are very busy now so we offered them an opportunity to staff a booth at the show for as little as 4 hours. Builders Row will include McBride Remodeling (2-5 Friday and 9 to 1 Sat) and ServePro of Cheboygan and Gaylord (11-3 Friday). See the Exhibitor list for other builders who will have a booth at the show.

COVID restrictions have been lifted so masks are not required. However, we will have masks available for anyone who wants one and there will be a hand sanitizing station.

VENDOR & HBANM MEMBER BREAKFAST on Friday, April 8 from 9-10:30 AM at the Iron Horse Cafe on the NCMC campus. Vendors no charge. HBANM members $10 fee. Booth awards and announcements.

Great Lakes Energy offers a variety of rebates for members to help save when purchasing new energy-efficient products. Join us to learn about simple energy-saving opportunities, appliance rebates, and new heating and cooling technologies including all-electric homes. Diana Cracko will be presenting for Great Lakes Energy.
2:00 PM - “Landscaping for the Lakes” - sustainable shoreline and landscaping using compost and native plantings. (Visit booth # 26 for this class)
Lindsey Walker from Emmet County Recycling will do a brief presentation on the Landscaping for the Lakes Campaign which aims to increase the use of compost throughout the State of Michigan. Landscape for the Lakes is about building awareness of existing research on the value and application of yard debris and food waste-based compost to improve soil health and function and improve downstream water quality. As a Landscape for the Lakes Champion, Lindsey will be making a presentation to share information about the use and application of compost in green stormwater infrastructure, landscaping, and growing applications.
